"Indeed, part of the schools of Islamic Fiqh, such as the Maliki school, and some contemporary scholars who have expertise in the field of Islamic Shariah have leaned towards the opinion that ALLOWING WAQF ON THE SHARES OF COMPANIES that have been and are being invested is permissible, with the condition that the shares and the profits spent must comply with the conditions set by the waqif as explained in the agreed waqf formulation."
