Dana Niaga (Micro Islamic Credit Facility) was introduced by Waqaf An-Nur on May 5, 2007. Dana Niaga is an Islamic micro credit facility based on Qardhul Hassan (interest-free) and Murabahah Tawarruq (with profit) for Micro Entrepreneurs. The purpose of the financing is to assist micro entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses through Shariah-compliant financing.

The Community Waqf Center (PWK) is a socio-economic development program that provides skills training to the target group so they can generate income and improve their quality of life.

This program started in January 2014 with the establishment of PWK Sewing in Taman Bukit Dahlia, Pasir Gudang. PWK Sewing is now also operating in Taman Bukit Tiram, Ulu Tiram. Former trainees are also given the opportunity to start businesses through the Incubator Program at the PWK Sewing premises.

Starting in 2018, Waqaf An-Nur introduced a hair cutting training program through PWK. As of December 31, 2022, a total of 114 trainees have completed hair cutting training, consisting of the asnaf group, B40, and unemployed individuals.

Waqaf An-Nur remains committed to fulfilling its responsibility to help improve the economy of the ummah by launching the Waqaf Tani Komuniti program located at Block 12, RSK Taman Cendana II, Johor Bahru. This program commenced in early August 2023 in collaboration with the resident community in Taman Cendana in phases, with the objective of increasing the community's knowledge and skills in agriculture, particularly urban agriculture that is user-friendly, technology-driven, clean, and safe to use.

This Waqaf Tani Komuniti program is also one of the Waqaf Tali Pancing initiatives introduced by Waqaf An-Nur to help boost the economy of the local community. To start, a total of 30 selected participants are taking part in this program. The implementation period of this Waqaf Tani Program is 12 months, involving 4 phases, where each phase will involve the transfer of knowledge regarding the basics of planting, crop management and care modules, garden landscaping, and product value addition.

To date, there are 3 selected locations for running the Waqaf Tani Komuniti program as follows:

This program started in early August 2023 with collaboration from the resident community in Taman Cendana in phases with the objective of enhancing knowledge and skills of the community in the agricultural field, especially urban farming that is easy to use, technologically advanced, clean, and safe to use.

The Community Agricultural Waqf program is also one of the initiatives of the Fishing Line Waqf introduced by Waqaf An-Nur to help improve the local economy. Initially, 30 selected participants will take part in this program. The duration of the Agricultural Waqf program is 12 months and involves 4 phases where each phase will include the transfer of knowledge related to basic planting, crop management and care modules, garden landscaping, and product value addition.

So far, all 4 phases covering Planter Boxes, NFT, Fertigation Crops, Mushrooms, and Fish Farming have been implemented within 6 months, and within 5 months, nearly RM12 thousand of Group Savings Fund has been generated through the production of vegetable crops and product sales.

The Modern Stingless Bee Farming Project (WaqafBee) is a collaboration between Waqaf An-Nur and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). This program aims to provide income generation opportunities to the asnaf/B40 group through stingless bee farming, produce competitive modern stingless bee farming entrepreneurs among students, and establish a modern stingless bee farming center.

Complete School Uniform

The Johor State Finance Officer's Office has agreed to the appointment of Waqaf An-Nur as the Implementing Agency for the Preparation of Religious School Uniforms in Johor.

The preparation for this project began in November 2023 with the purchase of raw materials such as uniform fabric, sewing materials, and modification works for the storage premises in Ulu Tiram. This is to ensure that the school uniforms (Malay shirts and kurung) can be implemented smoothly.

The sewing process will take place in three (3) premises located in Danga Bay, Ulu Tiram, and Pasir Gudang.
