SINCE 2006

RM102 million

Since its establishment in 2006, Waqaf An-Nur has successfully distributed over RM102 million in funds for the development of the Ummah, benefiting more than 2 million recipients.

Distribution 2024

This method of distribution is guided by the preservation of benefits in the Maqasid Shariah, which is based on 3 categories.

Dharuriyyat

Everything that cannot be abandoned in the religious and worldly life of humans. The necessity of Dharuriyyat is measured based on the need to preserve and protect five matters that are the goals of Sharia, namely religion, life, intellect, lineage, and property.

Hajiyyat

Something that is needed by humans to avoid hardship and reject difficulties. If there is none, humans will face hardships and difficulties, but not to the point of damaging life.

Tahsiniyyat

The things that are demanded by self-esteem and noble character in order to attain a good life. The refinements are a complement to having a more comfortable life.

Welfare Distribution Report

In order to fulfill the responsibility of developing the ummah economy, in the year 2024, Waqaf An-Nur distributed a total of RM28,012,326.

This distribution amount has been received from various sources including the commitment of the Waqaf An-Nur Fund, Wakalah Zakat, and Crowdfunding.

The breakdown of the distribution sources is as per the following chart:

The distribution activities of the Waqaf An-Nur General Welfare Fund benefits directly during the period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, are as follows:

Public Contribution Distribution (Crowdfunding)

The funds distributed by Waqaf An-Nur not only cover the commitments of Waqaf An-Nur and the Zakat Agency, but also include contributions from the public through the An-Nur Mosque Network, Waqaf An-Nur Clinic Fund, and strategic partners. In 2024, a total of RM11,053,983 was received and distributed.
