SINCE 2006

RM102 million

Since its establishment in 2006, Waqaf An-Nur has successfully distributed over RM102 million in funds for the development of the Ummah, benefiting more than 2 million recipients.

Distribution 2023

This method of distribution is guided by the preservation of benefits in the Maqasid Shariah, which is based on 3 categories.

Necessities

Everything that cannot be abandoned in the religious and worldly life of humans. The necessity of Dharuriyyat is measured based on the need to preserve and protect five matters that are the goals of Sharia, namely religion, life, intellect, lineage, and property.

Hajiyyat

Something that is needed by humans to avoid hardship and reject difficulties. If there is none, humans will face hardships and difficulties, but not to the point of damaging life.

Tahsiniyyat

The things that are demanded by self-esteem and noble character in order to attain a good life. The refinements are a complement to having a more comfortable life.

Welfare Distribution Report

In order to fulfill the responsibility of developing the global ummah economy, in the year 2023 Waqaf An-Nur has distributed a total of RM12,080,823.

Indirect distribution that includes the emoluments of the Imam, Bilal, the maintenance of the An-Nur Mosque Network, and the costs of managing activities totaling RM5,882,835.

While the direct distribution includes various sources, among them are the commitment of Waqaf An-Nur (General Welfare Fund), Management of Zakat Agency, and public donations (Crowdfunding) through the An-Nur Mosque Network and Strategic Partners totaling RM6,197,988. The breakdown of the distribution is as shown in the chart below:

Waqaf An-Nur continues to be trusted to manage the JCorp Business Zakat Agency for the year 2022 with an amount of RM2,907,725.

Public Contribution Distribution (Crowdfunding)

The fund distribution made by Waqaf An-Nur not only includes the commitments of Waqaf An-Nur and the Zakat Agency, but it also includes contributions from the public through the An-Nur Mosque Network, the Waqaf An-Nur Clinic Fund, and strategic partners like Global Sadaqah. In the year 2023, a total of RM731,409 was received and distributed.
