WAN Gold (previously known as Maruah Emas Sdn Bhd) was established on June 13, 2006 and began operations as a licensed pawnbroker (Ar-Rahnu transactions) at the Central Business Complex of Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru, Johor.

The Shariah-compliant Gold Trading Platform has been approved by the Shariah Expert Committee Waqaf An-Nur meeting at the end of 2022 and subsequently An-Nur Gold was launched in January 2023.
An-Nur Gold is a Shariah-compliant gold trading platform monitored by SALIHIN Shariah Advisory and the Shariah Expert Committee of Waqaf An-Nur.
This online gold buying and selling platform is open to individuals, companies, and agencies. An affiliate system is offered to government agencies, business companies, and corporations.
The gold prices at An-Nur Gold are based on real-time prices accredited by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).
The storage cost at An-Nur Gold is calculated daily (1% per year) on the customer's gold account balance or RM0.50 equivalent in grams, whichever is higher.
